Lute-shaped vase. A knight in armour with the defeated lion

The images on either side of the object, designed and painted by Kaldeway, referred to the historical mission of the Habsburg Empire. Contemporary viewers could compare the knight in armour defeating the lion and holding an Austrian coat of arms flag with the figure of St. George the Dragon Slayer depicted on the other side.
