The statuesque, gilded green and eosin ceramic image surrounded by fairytale dragons is a symbolic vision of “musical nature”. It is a unique piece; one of the prime examples of the golden age of Zsolnay workshop, as well as one of the finest works of international Art Nouveau ceramic art. The painting of the unknown artist was presumably developed into a ceramic piece by Géza Nikelszky. The elements of the perfect composition also emerge in other, later works by Zsolnay.
